Neuro-Acupuncture is based on TCM theories of Organs, Meridians and Collaterals.  Also, in modern medicine it is based on a projection of functional locations of cerebral cortex on the scalp. Fine needles are inserted into the target areas, followed by hand manipulation or the use of a stimulation device to create the therapeutic effect.  It is commonly used in neurological conditions such as stroke, hemiplegia, numbness, dizziness and vertigo, and general conditions including headache, hypertension, insomnia and various kinds of pain.
